With Beddgelert, Llanberis and the Snowdonia National Park on the doorstep, plus the local peaks of the Llyn Peninsula there is plenty of places to explore on foot or by bicycle. There is also the Welsh coastal path for the adventurous.

Our local beach is only 200 yards walk down a public footpath. Its very private, wild and unspoilt and you may see a seal or a porpoise or two.
Porthmadog with its famous Black Rock Sands is only 15 miles away. Miles of sandy beach and dunes to enjoy. Plus you can park on the beach.
Dinas Dinlle resort is only 5 miles away with is long promenade, pebble beach suitable for swimming, cafes, air musuem and Caernarfon's own airport. Here is also a good place to spot a dolphin.
4 miles away, Glynllifon is set in a hidden away country estate with a Grade 2 listed mansion. There are 11 acres of grounds to explore including the sculpture trail and the Gardens. There is a Cafe - serving organic vegan food - and a gift shop with Play area.
Only 1.5 miles up the road. Great activity centre for all ages offering bowling, quad biking, archery, wake boarding, segways, pool, bar food and a farm shop.
Great for rainy days too as it offers indoor activities.
